It takes about a second for the Robocoin AI to identify the coin and find its valuable features. Tens of neural networks process and identify the coins, so that you can focus only on those that are likely to have value.
Automatic sorting out valuables
Robocoin scanners take high resolution pictures of your coins, use AI to identify those that are worth more than their nominal value, and sort them out. It works great as a coin hunting tool, and to document and analyze your collection.

Unlike previous rounds, there is no waiting list, lottery, or selection process this time. The first 50 customers who complete payment for the Robocoin Athena Early Access Round 3 package are included in Round 3.

Justin's review is now a couple of years old. Since then we have improved a lot — Robocoin is stronger, more refined, more accurate, has more features, and can scan many more coins in a single batch. Robocoin is designed to accurately scan and process various US circulation coin denominations from specific years. Below is a table summarizing the supported coins:

Robocoin is continually expanding its recognition capabilities to include various coin varieties and errors. Currently, it can identify the following specific features:

Detecting these features is genuinely difficult — many of them are tiny, subtle marks on the coin surface (die cracks, die chips, small date numerals, slight letter spacing differences) that are easy to miss even with the naked eye, and we are still actively working to improve recognition quality. Robocoin already recognizes the varieties listed above, but we are continuously refining the detection models for reliability and edge cases.
As Robocoin continues to evolve, we plan to expand this list to include more varieties and errors, enhancing its utility for numismatists and coin enthusiasts.
